After a dismal fall of 0.9 percent in the previous month, resale prices of non-landed private homes across Singapore registered an increase of 0.6 percent in June according to flash estimates of the NUS Singapore Residential Price Index or SPRI in short.

With the exclusion of smaller units, prices in the Central Region increased by 0.7 percent in June as compared to a 0.6 percent decline in May.  The non-central region showed a price reversal of 0.4 percent increase as compared to the price decline of 1.0 percent in the previous month.

For units measuring 506 square feet or below experience the least increase by 0.2 percent after a previous fall of 1.1 percent.  The Central Region sub-basket consists of properties in District 1 to 4 and District 9 to 11. Properties in the other districts comes under the non-central region category.
